Dat The Mandalorian een groot succes is geworden dat was al even bekend. Maar zo'n succes gaat natuurlijk niet gepaard zonder nominaties voor grote prijzen. Het eerste seizoen van de Disney+ show is namelijk genomineerd voor maar liefst 15 Emmy's, waaronder die voor beste drama.
De concurrentie is echter wel groot. Voor de nominatie van beste drama strijden namelijk onder meer ook Killing Eve, The Crown, The Handmaid's Tale, en Ozark.

- Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy or Drama Series (half uur) and Animation
- Outstanding Special Visual Effects
- Outstanding Stunt Coordination For A Drama Series, Limited Series or Movie.
De makers van de serie mogen trots zijn op deze fantastische prestatie. Nu nog kijken hoe veel er binnen gehaald worden.
